The University of Maine Cooperative Extension is running a lunchtime series of three webinars on compost issues in agriculture and waste management from March 11-23, March 23, and March 30.

This compost webinar series first examines the organic certification process for the use of compost with Caleb Goossen, specialist in organic plants and conservation for the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association. followed by a carcass composting with Krishona Martinson, Professor at the University of Minnesota and a specialist in Extension Equine; and composting hemp scraps with Mark King, Maine Environmental Protection Specialist and Maine Compost School educator.
