LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) – The Lincoln magic shop owner who was charged with sexually assaulting several foster boys in his care earlier this year was re-licensed earlier this year.
Graciano Lopez, 42, was charged with sexually assaulting at least six different boys in June between the summer of 2017 and through March 2021, when one of the children contacted the state health ministry to report the ongoing assault.
Officer Erin Spilker said that in addition to providing foster care, Lopez came into contact with some of the boys in his Jolly Beans’s Magic Castle store and through a lawn care business he ran where he employed teenagers. The investigators are still looking for more victims.
