A so-called Uber-like lawn mower app was launched in Porterville.
GreenPal, an app that connects homeowners with local, licensed lawn care providers, launches in Porterville this week.
With GreenPal in Nashville, homeowners can find local, pre-screened lawn professionals. Homeowners can list their lawns with their service date and lawn care needs. Verified lawn care professionals can then bid on their property based on street and aerial images from Google and other homeowner-provided lawn details. Homeowners can then choose who to work with based on the vendor’s ratings, ratings, and price.
Once a salesperson completes the service, the lawn care provider will send a timestamped photo of the completed job. Homeowners can then pay via the app and make additional appointments.
“Having successfully launched in 250 other markets, we are excited to help Porterville homeowners find reliable, safe, local lawn care,” said Gene Caballero, co-founder.
