BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – The Bowling Green Police are investigating a number of thefts that have taken place in the past few months.

Police say an unidentified woman has walked into several local businesses and claims to be an employee of the local government. She then buys lawn care / landscaping items (chainsaws, line cutters, scissors, coolers, etc.) and fraudulently debits these items with government accounts.

The suspect is a white woman with dark hair. She wears a ponytail high on her head and was last seen driving a black Kia Amanti.
